What’s Going Good Honey Chile?

When was the last time you counted your blessings?

I frequently have to re-remember that this is the ultimate practice, besides dancing and walking, to get me back to feeling grounded ASAP.

With the world completely changing in some strange psychic dramatic social distancing, lynching scheme, it’s been a real reclamation to find any kind of sensation that isn’t about feeling numb, in rage, and somehow caged.

Below are a few tried and true embodied rituals to help you remember who are, what this is all for, and how much good you really do have going on, sweet chile.

Chant, pray, and touch mala or prayer beads. As you go one by one, recognize a gift in your existence.

I personally practice chanting “Namyohorengkyo” nearly everyday. Since I have instituted this practice into my daily life as a morning ritual, I feel super connected to the portal of axis that connects my sacral chakra to the earth and serves as a channel through my third eye and crown of my head connecting me to infinite source of light and truth. The presence on individual beads feels like a treasure of life in between the fingers and serves as a messenger of prayers, light and intentions.

Make a list of gratitude's — start with the barest minimum of 10 and challenge yourself to do 50, 100 or even 50 a day for a week or month.

I know a lot of people find it really difficult, quite a stretch to come up with things that they are grateful for as our expectations in Amerikkkan culture are over the top and we are conditioned to believe that our worth is based on the things that we have as tactile objects. This is where part of the shift is happening and will continue to happen — as we invite presence and awareness into the smallest details and gifts in our daily lives will we experience the abundance of love and joy of the infinite. We will discover ever more how rich we are in heart, spirit, soul and community.

Connect with Mother Nature and Sun Gaze.

Sometimes we get so far away from our true nature and selves because we are caught up in the world of technology and other energies. It is a pretty easy way to lose touch of what’s good in the world when we don’t actually place our naked parts of our body on the actual extensions of the Earth. Feeling Earth energy on your feet, on your pelvic floor, on your heart can be the most soothing salve and it makes it so easy to feel grateful for the peaceful presence which exists in all of Mother Nature. Let the sun bathe your face and naked body whenever possible. The children know. You will remember who you are and that will be all of the thanks necessary.

We’ve got this. Stay centered and grounded and keep moving on. — Axé Asé Ashe
